THE Hamilton community is set to benefit from a $2.3 million mental health facility on Lonsdale Street which is expected to be completed by December 2022.

South West Healthcare (SWH) received the grant for the purpose-built facility through the Victorian Government’s 2020-2021 Regional Health Infrastructure Fund (RHIF), and the centre will give locals greater access to mental health care and services.

The new facility will be located on the vacant block next to the Maryknoll Centre and will add to the significant community services hub in the area.
