THE Game Management Authority (GMA) on Saturday announced the arrangements for the 2022 duck season including changes to the start times, daily bag limit and hunted species - polarising hunters and animal lovers.

The Coalition Against Duck Shooting (CADS) and the RSPCA condemned the announcement and claimed wildlife survey evidence did not support a full season, and the ongoing practice every year was reducing numbers to dangerous levels.
