HEATED discussions erupted at a Moyne Shire Council meeting on Tuesday, following a motion filed by Councillor, Jim Doukas to further investigate questions surrounding an online meeting convened by the Clean Energy Council (CEC) on November 29 last year.
AGL gas and renewables community relations manager, Lachlan Sturt had taken issue with the wind farm meeting in an email to Killarney resident, Viva-Lyn Lenehan early in February, saying it was “rather unusual” and said they had “concerns” about the proposal to have a localised campaign to discuss “the benefits of the presence of renewable energy projects”.
