THE influential union representing midwives says it has a solution that would see births return to Portland District Health and wants to meet with the service to discuss it.
The comments from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Victorian branch) secretary Lisa Fitzpatrick come as Health Minister Martin Foley visited PDH on Wednesday.
