DETECTIVES from the Hamilton Crime Investigation unit assisted with executing eight search warrants in Warrnambool on Thursday morning, as part of an investigation into methylamphetamine trafficking across south-west Victoria.

The Western Region Crime Squad and Warrnambool Crime Investigation Units led the searches which saw methylamphetamine, GHB, cash, prohibited weapons, and ammunition seized.
