HORRIFIC stories of the maulings and killing of vast numbers of sheep by wild dogs and dingoes in other parts of Australia were heard at a public meeting in Dunkeld on Monday night.
As the State Government has yet to completely rule out a policy to reintroduce dingoes into Grampians (Gariwerd) and Victorian national parks, an audience of over 165; mostly farmers and concerned locals, gathered at Sterling Place to reiterate their objection.
