HAMILTON residents can now get guaranteed fixed price taxi fares by booking through a national taxi booking app.

Taxis of Hamilton have joined forces with Australia’s number one taxi company, 13cabs, to utilise its sophisticated despatch service to ensure passengers not only get the best price for their trip, but can quickly and easily book a taxi.

Taxis of Hamilton is a family business, run by well-known local family, Wayne and Jan Uebergang, for the last 22 years.

“We love our business as we can connect with so many local people,” Ms Uebergang said.

“We wanted to improve our service by joining the 13cabs modern booking system, where passengers can get a fixed price guarantee for their fare if they book through the app.

“This is great for locals as it means that unlike rideshare, the price stays the same even in peak hours or on a public holiday.

“The new system started (last) Monday and our passengers say it’s really convenient to book us through the 13cabs app as it’s on their mobile and just a few clicks away.”

When booking through the 13cabs app – or by ringing the 13cabs main call centre on 13 2227 – anyone in Hamilton or surrounds will automatically be connected with a Taxis of Hamilton vehicle.

“We want to give passengers the best deal possible,” Ms Uebergang said.

“Of course, they can still book using our existing number 5571 1200 if they prefer.”
