WITH the State Election fast approaching and roads in the Southern Grampians among the worst in the state, the Shire has called on residents to help with getting them fixed.

Southern Grampians Shire Council mayor, Bruach Colliton, will be meeting with ministers in Spring Street, Melbourne, this week and has put the call out for photos and videos of the worst sections of the region’s roads.

Roads within the Southern Grampians comprise 603 kilometres of arterial roads classified as highways and main roads which are managed by VicRoads, with 2818 kilomteres of municipal roads managed by the Shire.
