TEA, birds and floral designs made a winner of a picture at the Wellspring Art Award and Exhibition in Sandford on Sunday.

Winning artist, Jenn White said her linocut artwork took inspiration from old-fashioned European dresses, while incorporating “a bit of fantasy” and Australian birds.

“I figure she’s having tea with the birds,” she said.

Sandford’s spring market and art show went ahead at the Sandford Hall while other events in the past couple and next couple of weeks were cancelled left, right and centre, but the occasion was cut short due to concerns oncoming wet weather was impacting visitor numbers.
