I had a few pieces of this slice in my lunch box at golf recently. Four of my fellow golfers were interested and sampled it.
The recipe got the tick of approval from Helen, Betty, Fiona and Tanya. They also wanted their names mentioned in this column!
BASE
1 pkt Marie or Malt biscuits
½ tin condensed milk
100g butter
TOPPING
1½ cups coconut
½ tin condensed milk
1 pkt fruit medley
Crush biscuits, melt condensed milk and butter together and pour over crushed biscuits. Press into slice tin.
Mix topping mixture together and press onto base.
Set in fridge.
