THE Hamilton Gallery is set to host popular creative activities for the holidays as NGV Kids on Tour 2023 comes to town.

The event is inspired by the 2022 NGV kids’ exhibition ‘Making Art: Imagine Everything is Real’, which celebrated the work of some of the most innovative European artists of the twentieth century including Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque, Natalia Goncharova and Remedios Varo.

Children and families can enjoy free art activities and workshops at over 130 community venues across Melbourne and Victoria these summer holidays, including morning and afternoon sessions at the Hamilton Gallery.

Book a spot in the session that suits and choose the activity that you love - participants can make a sculpture, a collage, a poem, a portrait, a creature, a drawing or even an anime and comic-book inspired character.

Come on down next Tuesday, January 24, between 10am-12pm and 2-4pm.

Workshops are free but spaces are limited so booking is essential via Eventbrite.
