HAMILTON Lions Club member and Appeal Coordinator, Allan Hadden, has reminded the local community that the Hamilton Victoria Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal is only days away.

 Mr Hadden said community members can donate online, by phone, or at any business that has a Good Friday tin.

“They all have a QR Code which allows people to donate very easily for this worthwhile Appeal that enables the RCH to provide world class care to children,” he said.

The Hamilton Lions Club has coordinated tin collections that include members from the CFA, the Hamilton SES, and the Hamilton Kangaroos Football Netball Club volunteering as tin shakers beforehand and on Good Friday.

Mr Hadden said people can also donate in person at the Lions Club rooms in Shakespeare Street, Hamilton, and if they have spare time volunteers are always welcome to door knock areas in Hamilton.

“Everyone have a safe Easter and drive safely on the roads,” he said.

All fundraising efforts add to the official total for the 2023 RCH Good Friday Appeal this Friday, April 7.
