LAST Saturday’s Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings was earmarked to raise funding for a Hamilton Youth Centre and was a great success with a total of $643.95 collected from generous (and hungry) locals. Bunnings donated a camping armchair, one gas cooker and butane gas canisters and two gift cards with the prize offered to the customer who guessed nearest the total amount they were worth. Anoushka de Chelard was the winner and organiser, Lee-Ann Elmes said she was “blown away” by the overall response. “I really would like to thank those who helped with their time serving sausages and to the community for coming out and supporting us like they have,” she said.
