Women’s housing project set to get underway

LOWAN MP and deputy leader of The Nationals, Emma Kealy visited the Women’s Housing Limited (WHL) housing development project site in Hamilton on Tuesday.

Set to begin construction by the end of this month, the site will host 17 standalone low-cost units predominantly for women and their children, or senior women over the age of 55 in need of affordable housing.
