HEYWOOD library was busy over the past fortnight with lots of children visiting to join the school holiday activities.
Part of the Glenelg Shire Council’s holiday program last week was the ‘trick Shot Bottle Flip Challenge’ at the library.
Youngsters got to challenge their friends by inventing their own trick shots with cups, ping pong balls and anything else they could find.
This week, kids were invited to decorate their very own library bags with markers, fabric paint, stencils and stamps. Some wrote their names and others chose to illustrate animals.
Portland school holiday makers also got to enjoy the same activities run at the Portland Glenelg Library over the school holidays.
After two-week school holidays, kids will return to school next Monday, October 2, for term four.
