GRACE Fellowship, a community-driven organisation committed to supporting those in need, wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to the Southern Grampians Shire for its generous Greater Grants Program that has significantly enhanced its No-Cost Café’s outdoor area.
The No-Cost Café, which is an essential part of the Fellowship’s mission to provide warm meals and a welcoming space for those facing food insecurity, now has the bonus of an aesthetically pleasing outdoor area in the warmer months with extra seating, shade and a mural produced by local artist Elaine Noske.
“This grant, provided through the Greater Hamilton program, has allowed us to make vital improvements to the outdoor space used as part of our soup kitchen, benefiting the broader Hamilton community,” Ps Rodger Garland said.
The organisation said it recognised the hard work and dedication of the Southern Grampians Shire in evaluating and selecting projects that contribute positively to the community and were grateful for their partnership and for the trust they have placed in Grace Fellowship to make a meaningful impact.
Grace Fellowship remains committed to its mission of providing nourishment, care, and hope to those in need, and with the support of the Southern Grampians Shire, can continue to make a difference in the lives of Hamilton residents. Over 14 years, 15000 meals have been distributed, with a rise in numbers coming out of Covid.
For those looking to lend a hand or volunteer as part of the No-Cost Café, please get in touch with Grace Fellowship who would love to hear from you.
