HAMILTON Pound is undergoing some necessary refurbishments in order to continue offering their service for the Southern Grampians as well as surrounding Shires.

The floors will be resealed which means the Pound will be unable to accept new surrendered dogs from August 15, 2024 until September 14, 2024.

During this time, it will still be possible to adopt the dogs who are currently housed there as accommodations have been made to keep them happy and comfortable.

The pound will still be able to accept cats during this time.

The SGSC Rangers will also still be performing their usual work in the community collecting lost or dangerous animals, for which arrangements have been made.

This applies only to voluntary surrenders.
