WITH Christmas just around the corner, the community are once again invited to take part in the Samaritan’s Purse - Operation Christmas Child, a charity appeal which sends a shoebox full of gifts to disadvantaged children across the world.

Last year, 11.3 million Christmas shoebox gifts were packed for by people from 11 countries including 218,215 shoeboxes collected in Australia/New Zealand.
