THE annual Livestock and Rural Transporters Association of Victoria (LRTAV) conference held in Ballarat mid-August, was jam packed with information sessions on various transport and agriculture related topics on the highly regulated industry.

South-west Victorian dairy farmers have learnt about the potential benefits of virtual fencing to manage herd grazing and movement during a New Zealand study tour.

The ‘Making Our Farms Safer’ project has been delivered by the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) with funding supplied by the Victorian government.
