NUMBERS increased on Wednesday at Hamilton presenting 6500 in total comprising 2500 shorn lambs, 1650 new season lambs and 2400 sheep.

Overall the quality was very good with the sheep offering covering most weights and grades with the majority being crossbred Ewes. Most of the regular processes were present with some not fully active with both supermarkets’ chains in attendance. No feeder competition was evident and minimal store competition.
