IT was a busy week for Parklands Golf Club, commencing with the AGM on Monday night.

WITH the course in tip top condition and the greens running fast after their recent coring, the Hamilton Golf Club commenced its annual tournament this week.

A DEFINITION of sport - improving physical fitness, mental wellbeing, forming social relationships.

A FIELD of 57 men and 22 women played in Saturday’s stableford event at the Hamilton Golf Club with very good scores recorded.

THE Parklands Golf Club volunteers have been busy across a range of activities since the conclusion of the annual tournament.

PLAYER numbers are continuing to increase for our Saturday golf with 50 men and 25 women participating in a stableford event.

THE course is drying out as summer approaches and players are being rewarded with considerable run if they manage to stick to the fairways.

SATURDAY was the second round of the Rountree Hyslop Cup 4BBB Par event with 69 players taking part.

IT was a busy week on the course with the men’s Monthly Medal awarded on Saturday, along with the club’s annual Pink Day fundraiser on Wednesday.
