THE Hamilton Sportswoman of the Year awards have been abandoned for this year, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The dinner and awards night is traditionally on the last Tuesday of October, but the current restrictions around gatherings meant the Hamilton Branch of the Sportswomen’s Association of Australia will now turn their focus to next year.
