Ready for racing

WESTERN Speedway had its first cars on track in more than eight months after the Hamilton Speedway Drivers Club had a practice day on Sunday.

It is the first sign that a season could still go ahead despite the coronavirus restrictions with another club practice day planned for next month ahead of the first race meet at the Hamilton track in January.

Club president, Dehne Sparrow said it was great to see cars back on track after last season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
