LAST Friday saw the Glenelg Division Swimming Sports took place in Portland and several locals shared in the success across the day.

Local schools including The Hamilton and Alexandra College (THAC), Monivae College, Baimbridge College, Good Shepherd College, Casterton Secondary College and Heywood District Secondary College all travelled for a big day of competition.

The weather provided fine conditions for swimming and the racing was fierce with some strong swimmers impressing in the water.
