MELISSA Tapper has created history, winning her first Paralympic medal at Tokyo after Australia claimed the women’s team class 9-10 silver medal on Friday morning.

Tapper competed alongside Qian Yang and Li Na Lei to take on Poland’s Natalia Partyka and Karolina Pek in the gold medal match with Poland winning 2-0.
