HEATHMERE’S Southern 500 Speedway is ready to get up and running, with tomorrow to see the first of a number of events set to take place over the coming months, with the feature event being the 360 Allstars Sprintcars.

Club president Bob Wilson and his crew have been preparing the track for months leading up to the first event of the season, and he told the Observer he’s proud of what they’ve managed to produce.
