THE Portland Croquet Club’s representative teams have come leaps and bounds in the past few years with their rise showcased last week when they claimed the South Western Croquet Association’s golf croquet pennant championship.

It wasn’t just a small victory either, last week’s pennant win marked the second season in a row that the team has gone undefeated to claim the title.
