EARTHWORKS started this week at Melville Oval to prepare for the construction of two new netball courts and a pavilion as part of the facilities redevelopment project for the oval.

A section of Market Place road will be permanently closed to create the extra space required to build the new community assets at the northern end of the recreation precinct.
