KELLIE Atkins received the Betty Homes Memorial Trophy for 2024, with the speedway volunteer’s impact on the sport acknowledged at Hamilton’s Sportswoman of the Year awards night on Monday.

Atkins has been involved in speedway for more than 40 years and said it was a special feeling to win the award.
