CASTERTON District has drawn a line in the sand with an opening round four-wicket victory in the Hamilton and District Cricket Association (HDCA) A grade competition against reigning premier, College, at College Turf on Saturday.

Kaden Humphries won the toss for Casterton District and elected to bowl first, as has been the team tactic since his elevation to the captaincy last summer.
