PORT Fairy Football Netball Club is not taking its tough 2022 Hampden Football Netball League season lying down, gathering the community for an information session earlier in the week.
The session was attended by new senior football coach, Dustin McCorkell, who was announced as the new Seagulls mentor after the club parted ways with Winis Imbi following the final round of the home and away season on August 20.
The Seagulls are coming of a winless 2022 senior football campaign, which followed the 2021 season in which the purple and gold won just one game from 12 rounds.
The club is taking a proactive approach with about 100 people attending the session at Gardens Oval, where new coach, Dustin McCorkell, address members and supporters.
McCorkell was named new senior coach last week with the club electing to part ways with Imbi.
The club discussed its strategic plan for the next few years and the Seagulls remain positive that the future remains bright at Gardens Oval.
The Seagulls are currently advertising multiple coaching vacancies across football and netball, as the club looks to bounce back and return to being a finals contender across all grades in the Hampden league.
The club was contacted for comment, but did not respond by time of print.
