CAVENDISH has announced its senior football coach for the 2023 South West District Football Netball League season, as full forward Sam Gibson takes the reins from Clinton Thomas, who led the club to a drought-breaking premiership this year.

It was Thomas who helped drag the Bloods up from the bottom of the ladder to finally break the club’s 29-year long premiership drought this season, and Gibson was a major player within that journey after moving to the district.
