IT was a tough opening match for Tyrendarra in the Western Victoria Female Football League, going down to South Warrnambool on Sunday 3.5 (23) to 2.2 (14).

Tyrendarra was able to maintain majority of possession but South Warrnambool’s efficiency with the ball allowed them to score quickly with some run off the backline.
