AFTER making her debut for Greater Western Victoria Rebels in the Coates Talent League Under-18 Girls competition against Geelong Falcons in Geelong recently, Maddison Cotten has her sights firmly on advancing through the programme to hopefully reach an AFLW club.

Having come through the pathway via Auskick a few years ago, while also playing against her brother and cousins in the backyard, Cotten was about to play in a junior boys’ team when she heard about the new female football team that was being set up at Hamilton Kangaroos and the rest is history.
