LAST Saturday’s men’s competition saw a contingent of players from Naracoorte playing for the Rippon Shield, an annual event which is held alternatively at Hamilton and Naracoorte Golf Clubs since 1950.

With 10 players representing each club, the event is a 4BBB match play with Hamilton the winner and holding onto the shield for another 12 months before the players cross the border and take on Naracoorte on its home course in 2023.
