Pennant
HAMILTON Men’s Div 1 Scratch team won 6-1 against Peterborough, with Mal Groves’ match going to the 22nd hole before he lost to Peter Cashmore.
Our Men’s Div 2 handicap team lost their match in a close contest, 2-3, against Macarthur on their home course, so maybe the home ground advantage got the local team over the line.
The women’s scratch team also had a close contest, going down 2-3 against Warrnambool at Port Fairy.
Women’s Div 2 had a win against Warrnambool, 3-2, at Portland, while Div 3 lost to Camperdown, 4-1, at Port Fairy.
The mixed pennant team had a win against undefeated Port Fairy, 3-2, with this match being played at Hamilton, so this time the home ground advantage may have got our team over the line.
