A WEEK of brilliant weather and course conditions were ideal for great golf rounds as Parklands welcomed visitors to their various events this week from Melbourne and Pakenham.
SATURDAY- Delightful Spring weather challenged golfers with the force of the wind.
Allan Flavell had a day out on taking out the stroke event by one shot and dominating the novelties.
RESULTS: 1st Allan Flavell 72, 2nd Bruce Taylor 73, 3rd Graeme Torney 74.
Nearest the pins: 2nd & 5th Allan Flavell, 3rd Bruce Taylor, 11th Dale Grambau, 13th Barry Oldaker.
Longest Putts: 1st, 16th & 18th Allan Flavell, 17th Stewart Turner Birdies and Ferrets: Barry Oldaker.
FRIDAY- Nine-hole stroke event played on the old nine-holes course.
The scores didn’t reflect the condition of the course and the brilliant weather.
Winner: Bruce Taylor 33points closely followed by Marie Cook on 33.5 points.

WEDNESDAY- Nine-hole Stableford event - Outward 9
The Captains are in great form this week. Winner: Barry Oldaker coming home with 18 points, second was Heather Wilkinson with 15 points, while George Donaldson finished third with 14 points.

TUESDAY- On a brilliant day for golf, the Stableford event saw our Ladies Captain Sue Irvin winning on a countback from Marie Cook both with 31 points. 3rd with 28 points Heather Wilkinson.
