Ninth hole was for A grade and the visitor win went to Judy Delaney, and local honours went to Lyn Satchell.

The 16th hole was B grade, and winners were visitor Sandra Thompson and local was Brinkmann.

A great lot of work goes into this day, and there was an amazing lunch put on by our ladies, the clubhouse was full of beautiful flower arrangements and the gardens and surrounds looked magnificent.

Well done to our Co-Captains, Deb Pinniger and Shellie Peardon, and their match committee for all their behind the scenes work and to all our wonderful club members who supported the day.

Next week the women will be playing for the May Monthly Medal, so another round of stroke to challenge us all.

Tuesday

THERE were 11 golfers taking part in our Tuesday golf, and in our emerging group our winner was Jen Upton with 24 points, closely followed by sisters, Helen Dillon and Jan Hornell, after both finished with 23.

In the beginners group, Grant Hornell had a great score with 42, with Kris Fox and Cate Mercer-Grant both finishing with 21.

Today’s event for men is aggregate stableford pairs, while the women will play individual stableford.

Hit them long and straight and enjoy the 19th hole.
