LOCAL Parkland players continued their pursuit of the coveted SPECTATOR Trophy on Tuesday, with the best individual score of the day going to Kelly Hitchcock with 32points.
The Aggregate Stableford format allowed partners to combine their scores, adding an extra layer of strategy to the competition with the winners being Kelly Hitchcock and Irene Box 60 points on a count back from Kath Hartwick and Joan Lewis.

PARKLANDS' volunteers who have spent many hours getting the course in the best condition for our annual tournament, enjoyed a round of golf in rare Spring sunshine.
Winner: Alex Walter 22 points, second was Bernie Cook 21 points, third was Jeff Donovan 20 points.

SUNDAY- Four Person Ambrose
THE final day of our annual tournament saw a large, enthusiastic field presented with the course in splendid condition on a warm, if a little windy day.
The four-person ambrose format lends itself to enjoyable, social golf with patches of seriousness as everyone attempted to win the selection of novelty prizes on offer.
Scratch winners were Joy Brody, Lynn Iredell, Phil Reese, and Ryan Lloyd-Jones with 65, while the runners-up were Simon Goggin, Gaye Goggin, Heather Wilkinson, and Steve Nattrass with 66.
The team Handicap winners were Helen Morrison, Oscar Morrison, Kaye Wraith, and B. Hadley with a nett score of 56 1/8, while the runners up were Alan Flavell, Dale Flavell, Michael Hiscock, and Vincent O’Brien with a nett 59 3/8.
NLP: Helen Williamson (2nd), Sue Irvin (5th), Laura Hitchcock (13th) and Lynn Iredale (15th).
The coveted longest straightest drive on the ninth hole went to Carolyn Lewis for the women.
For the men the nearest the pin prizes went to Greg Irvin (second), Andrew Lewis (fifth), Stewart Turner (13th) and Andrew Coyne (15th).
The longest straightest drive on the ninth hole was won by club captain, Barry Oldaker who out drove his vice-captain in the last group of the day.
The $300 tournament long, closest nearest the pin on the 13th was taken home by Stewart Turner with 2.1m distance from the pin.
FRIDAY- Three Person Irish Stableford
DAY three of our tournament turned on a perfect day for golf with the course in wonderful condition again.
The winners were Liz Nichol, Wendy Wathen, and Caroline Lewis with a score of 77 points, on a countback from Heather Hay, Rita Walkom, and Toby Salter.
Nearest the pin on the second was (local) Marie Cook, (visitor) Wendy Wathen. While on the fifth Marie Cook (local), Visitor Dawn Cay, on the seventh (Local) Gaye Goggin and Visitor Liz Nichol.
On the 13th (local) Marie Cook and (visitor) Sally Warburton were closest with the 15th (local) Gaye Goggin and (visitor) Diane Raymond being best.
Longest, straightest drive on the ninth was won by Marie Cook.
