OVER 300 motocross competitors entered the gates at Heywood Sports Park to compete in the Western Region Series across Saturday and Sunday.
The Portland Motocross Club hosted the event with the impressive turnout a big win for the club.
It was round two of the six-round series with some of the best junior and senior riders competing.
Saturday was filled with junior competition while Sunday saw the seniors take to the track.
Portland Motocross Club president Michael Goldby said it was a great day for the club and competitors.
“The weekend was extremely successful for us,” he said.
“We had around 300 bikes on the track over the weekend.
“We had so many people volunteering to make the weekend happen and a lot of quality riders across both days.”
“There were a few locals out there too having a go which was great to see.”
