Locals impress during Hawkesdale Campdraft

THE 2024 Hawkesdale Campdraft is in the books, with the event going ahead on the weekend at Macarthur, attracting 130 competitors across 11 events.

The campdraft caters for all riders, from beginners in both children and adults to the vastly experienced and everyone in between.

“We have 11 different categories that riders can enter, and once again it was a very successful event,” campdraft organiser Elise Dell said.

“The event has been staged at the Western District Campdraft Association grounds at Macarthur for the last four or five years and we are very grateful for the assistance given to us by the WDCA.

“Of course, we couldn’t stage the event without great support from volunteers and our sponsors who I want to thank whole heartedly.”
