HAMILTON’S Melissa Tapper was back in Paralympics action earlier this week, taking to the South Paris Arena for her Women’s Singles WS10 quarter-final against Chinese Taipei’s Shiau Wen Tian early Tuesday morning (local time), going down in five games, 2-3.
It was a tough start for Tapper, who lost the first two games, 11-13 and 13-15, before rallying to win the third and fourth games, 11-8 and 14-12, forcing the contest into a fifth and deciding game, which saw Tian win, 11-8.
