EARLIER this month, at a ceremony held in St Kilda, Melbourne, a member of the Christmas Island Joint Task Unit received a high military honour for his part in evacuating Australians from locations in China following the early outbreak of COVID-19.

This would not normally be news relevant to Hamilton, except for the fact the recipient was Richard Brown, originally from Balmoral and recently added to the teaching roster at Baimbridge College in their Humanities and English areas.
